Mary June’s selfless life and heart was truly more precious than rubies. Proverbs 3:15 She always knew how to make everyone feel like the most important person in the room and her hugs were “one of a kind”. Mary June absolutely loved to spread the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus of what he has done for each one of us or what he can do if only you love him as much as she always did. Anyone that truly knew her would say that her passion and servant gift as a prayer warrior comforted and healed many friends, neighbors, and so many dear members of the area church congregations she so dearly loved for all her years. The love for worshiping her God through music can also never be forgotten, whether it was her playing hymns on the piano, guitar or just singing as joyful as she could she was always showing her love for Jesus Christ and happiness it brought to her life. She dedicated her life to ministry many years ago along with her husband, Mickey and together they served many local churches, Issac’s Creek Baptist, Hepzibah Baptist Church, Summit Park Baptist Church and Ten Mile Baptist Church are just to name a few churches. Mary June was member of the Lumberport Baptist Church. Over the years, she developed many life-long Christian friends from local churches that she will forever cherish until we all meet again.
The proudest accomplishment and one she was never afraid to let the world know about was how much she loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. To the community she was Mary June, but to her family she had many important titles mom, grandma or “Nanny” to most. She truly lived her life as a “Proverbs 31” woman and mother in their eyes. She always expected the best in them but loved them unconditionally. It brought her such joy when she had a visit from her family and cooked a family meal. Mary June will forever cherish her family.
The family will forever be grateful for the compassionate and loving care of the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center. The love and dedication you have shown for Mary June throughout the last few years is forever in her heart, as well as our family, God Bless you all.
