Edna June Osbourn, 94, of Shinnston, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019, at Genesis Nursing Home in Fairmont, WV.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on June 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Emmett and Prudie Stuart Enoch.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Brown of Kingwood, Texas; and her son Marcus Osbourn of Shinnston, WV and a Daughter-in-law, Donna Osbourn of Enterprise, WV. Edna June has six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Carlton Ray Osbourn and her eldest son, Roger Allen Osbourn I of Enterprise, WV, and son-in-law Dennis Brown of Kingwood, Texas, three brothers, Errol, Ellis, and Ernest Enoch; two sisters, Evelyn Pethtel and Emma Meredith.
Edna June was a graduate of Shinnston High School and worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and also at Fairmont General Hospital. She was an active member of the Otterbein Methodist Church in Shinnston and served for many years in the Lord’s Pantry also in Shinnston. She enjoyed gospel music, singing, baking, gardening, reading history books and cheering for all of the West Virginia Mountaineer sports teams.
Family and friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike Street, Shinnston, WV on Friday, December 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Sam Cale IV of The Otterbein United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
