Becky stayed in touch with classmates and served on the alumni board to help with planning class reunions for both the Lumberport High and Lincoln High School. Becky had a great love for the family farm, the animals and flower gardens. Becky loved hosting family reunions at the farm and all the memories it provided getting together with “the cousins, nieces, and nephews”. She and her brothers were members of the Harrison County 4-H and participated every year in 4-H camps and the WV Dairy Show at Jackson’s Mill. She was very proud and honored to have served as the WV Dairy Princess representing WV dairy farmers at industry events, fairs and festivals. The Harrison County Master Gardeners was one of her favorite organizations. She served as an officer and dearly loved working with the group on service projects and at the Harrison County MG Spring Clinic. She could often be found working tirelessly in the numerous flower beds developed around the farm from plants she exchanged from fellow gardeners. Becky was an active Christian and member of the Lumberport Baptist Church. She dearly loved her church family serving and supporting their missions.
On November 8, 1986, Rebecca married Phillip I. Osborne. Together they had two children Elizabeth Ann and Parker Irvin Osborne. Family was extremely important to Becky and she made sure opportunities existed for the children to interact with extended family on vacations and holidays.
