Kenneth Earl Conner, 83, passed away on Sunday January 3,2021 in Zephyrhills, FL.
He was born on May 3, 1937 in Peora, West Virginia to the late Claude E. Conner and Mildred Vincent Conner.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Janet Schara (Brian) of Zephyrhills, FL; grandchildren, Katherine Schara of Zephyrhills, FL ; Daniel Schara of Tampa, FL; Jessica Schara of Mt Airy, NC; great-grandchildren Lily Buckley of Zephyrhills, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Conner; son, Kenneth Conner Jr.; daughter, Sarah Conner; brothers, Claude Edwin, Clifford Gene, Robert, Dale, Homer Franklin; sisters, Naomi, Carrol and Betty Lou.
Kenneth was in the US Army in Germany from 1958 to 1960, then moved to Homestead, Florida in 1962. He was a police officer, then became a truck driver and drove for Merita Bakery and Ryder truck lines. In his retirement years, he enjoyed woodworking and playing shuffleboard.
Friends and family will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston, WV on Thursday, January 14, 2021 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held at Harmer Funeral Home with Pastor Cindy Boggs officiating on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
